In my last update, I wrote that I had just finished 75% of the rewrite and was about to start work on the book’s final act. Well, after four weeks of hard work, I have completed… one chapter. Yes, this past month was spent working on what turned out to be one of the hardest chapters of the entire rewrite. Today, I want to share why it was so challenging and what went into writing it.

The past month was both super busy and very productive. Rachael was traveling for two weeks, and then my family from Costa Rica was in town. Despite the chaos, I was able to finish Act 2B ahead of my deadline, which means that the magical realism rewrite is now 75% complete!
A bit of a shorter update this month, not because I’ve been busy with other work, but because I’m making a ton of progress and I want to keep working on my rewrite! As of today, I’m nearly 75% done.
