After 10 months of hard work, I can finally say the magical realism rewrite is complete! At the start of the year, I set an ambitious goal of rewriting my entire manuscript to include elements of magical realism and historical fiction by the fall. I’m not going to lie, I was nervous about hitting that goal both because of my busy coaching schedule and because my last rewrite took 2 years to complete.

The past month was both super busy and very productive. Rachael was traveling for two weeks, and then my family from Costa Rica was in town. Despite the chaos, I was able to finish Act 2B ahead of my deadline, which means that the magical realism rewrite is now 75% complete!
A bit of a shorter update this month, not because I’ve been busy with other work, but because I’m making a ton of progress and I want to keep working on my rewrite! As of today, I’m nearly 75% done.
