Innocent Dreams: Author Update, April 2022

    🤪What a crazy month

I can't believe it's time for another Author Update. This past month has flown by. Between coaching two Ultimate Frisbee teams (middle and high school), client work, and working on the website for my book, I haven’t had much in the way of free time. I also haven’t had a lot of time to work on my query letter, which I need to get an agent. All this to say, I don’t have a lot of news to share this month.

What I can share is that I have finally finished the book’s website. In my March update, I wrote about how I had just launched it, but at that time, the site was still missing some functionality. Over the past month, I completed this project, and I’m delighted with how it turned out.

One new addition to the site is a page I’m calling “Spread the Word,” which details three simple steps that you can take to help me get this project into the world. The good news is that you have already completed step #1, which is signing up for the newsletter! If you have a moment, would you mind visiting the Spread The Word page to see if there is anything else you can do to help me with this endeavor. As I say on my site page:

“If my story is going to get any real traction in a crowded marketplace it will be because of your efforts.”

    👨🏽‍💻The Month Ahead

Given that I'm swamped and will be for the foreseeable future, I've decided to put my newsletter on hold once again. I'd rather stop publishing updates than send you something rushed or poorly written. Don’t worry, the newsletter will return, probably in June, when life has calmed down. I hope I will have a more substantial update about the book by then. Until then, I wish you the best, and I’ll write you soon!
